I purchased an R3000 on Saturday but I'm having print head strike issues, clearly there is something mechanically wrong with it.

Epson has authorized a swap for a new one.

After doing a bunch of research about the problem and discovering numerous r3000 vs 3880 threads I have the option to grab an 3880 instead.

3880 Pros:

17x22

More included ink and cheaper ink per ml to replace.

Overflow tank.

R3000 Pros:

Smaller droplet size which would be an advantage on smaller prints

Higher DPI which probably isn't really an advantage, paper being the limiting factor.

Speed

I'm not going to be a heavy printer, I don't see me really needing anything larger than 13" but why limit yourself.  Most of my prints will be smaller.  Should I grab the 3880 instead?
