MB Air: 128G+I7 or 250G_I5? would a larger SSD adds performance?

Planning MacBook Air 13", however need help to decide:

I7 + 128GB or I5 + 250GB (both with 8GB RAM)

Internet shown performance reviews compare/test a full blown I7 (I7+8GB+512GB/250GB) vs minimal I5 setup (I5+4GB+128GB).

I have found that with the same 8GN RAM the difference would be I7 vs I5 and the SSD size.

The Mobil Haswell two cores I5 as well a I7 have 4 threads (no advantage(

The rest parameters also mostly the same except:

I7 clock = 1.7 MHz vs I5=1.3MHz

I7 cash = 4MB while for I5 cache=3MB

These two processor parameters may contribute the the reported in reviews 30% performance advantage for Air with I7;

My questions are

1) would more of the fas SSD improve performance of running LR+CS6 (or Elements) as more can be assigned as extra memory?

2) are there additional I7 benefits besides the faster clock and larger cache by1MB l?

Thank you,

Leo
