I have been using Fugifilm HS models first the 10 and now the 30.  The factor was the hot shoe.  External flash and bounce are very useful.  That rules out Sony, Nikon and Canon.

The deciding factor for me was that the Fujifilm is a bit wider angle at the short end and the sample images I downloaded produced better prints from my work flow.  The differences were very hard to see so image quality is not a deciding factor. I also like the manual zoom ring.

The EXR a proprietary resolution dynamic range option in current Fujifilm super zooms has not done anything for me so I can not see it as a factor but you should look at it.

I suggest you take a close look at the Panasonic and Fujifilm options and decide on feel .

I have also become a big fan of sweep panoramas.  I have no experience with it on Panasonic but it might be worth examining for yourself as a comparison criterion.

I suggest you also compare macro capability.
