If you are going on a holiday and have both chances are you will take the mirrorless. They weigh about 1/3 to 1/4 of the DSLR and half the size or less. That's the whole point of them.



I know for a fact that at least one Magnum photographer is producing work using the Lumix GH3. He told me that the size and weight combined with excellent IQ made it ideal for him when he was on the road.

IME the few people who disagree with that have usually never shot with M4/3.
