With 645D, does Pentax even need a FF camera for the pro market?

Hi,

It seems that Pentax tends to pro market by selling 645D rather than FF cameras. I am wondering. The 645D is now around 2 times more expensive than a full frame Nikon D800, and around as much as a Canon 1D x or a Nikon D4. If I was interested in this level of quality, I think I would choose a Pentax (or any MF) over those two any day, since I am not into shooting action.

Perhaps it does not make sense for Pentax to make a pro-full frame camera, if they tailor to their market with the MF camera, which technically speaking, should be even better.

The second question is, how cheap 645D could they make? Could do make something that would be a lower-end 645D that could compete with $3000 FF dSLRs?
