I know the A3000 is low-end, but you'd think they could write a few extra lines of firmware code and give the user some latitude. Oh well - hopefully the sound isn't too annoying.

My cell phone - an older Nokia - makes a shutter sound, only its about half a second AFTER the taken shot is displayed. Weird.
