CS6 Filters wakes all sleeping drives

I'm just wondering how I can stop Photoshop CS6 from starting up all sleeping hard drives on my PC when ever I use a filter.

There are no images or PS software on these drives and I'm certain that there's no need for them to be spinning unless I want to save a file to another drive directly from CS6. In which case drives would start spinning with the save dialog not when using any given filter.

Is there a way to remedy this in CS6's settings?

Thanks for any help with this.
