Loads very quickly, easy to use. Much much better than LR5's tools.

Just map the exe file as an external editor in LR, and it's a very quick round trip. Small adjustments can be made in Inpaint in about the time it takes Elements to load.

The only issue I've found with Inpaint is that it doesn't like LR's prophoto colour space. So, send a tiff in Adobe RBG and all's good.

No 8 bit v 16 bit issues.

What do you mean by that?

Elements will allow some editing in 16 bit, but requires an 8 bit conversion for others.

Yes I know that but that does not explain the "no 8 bit v 16 bit issues" comment.

Very annoying if you want to keep your workflow totally in 16 bit until the final save to 8 bit jpeg.
