Re: CANON SX50 OR SONY HX300 ?

Canon SX50 or Sony HX300, I was in the same dilemma! I would have surely preferred Sony, as I have been using Sony HX100V and I know that the camera and the lens is good. However, after a judicious scrutiny, I have gone for Canon SX50 and I have done the right thing. The primary reason behind this is that Sony has dropped GPS in this model, disappointing! Many camera critics have missed one nice feature in Canon SX50 – the ‘Pre Record Buffer’, which enables the camera ready for video almost immediately and without any ‘standby’. Not only that, it can even record 3 sec clip of the events that has already occurred just prior to clicking the shutter. Probably Canon is learning from Casio Exilim.
