Ok, back to the EM1. It's bigger. Why? If I want a camera approaching a Canon APC camera, I'll buy a Canon APC camera. Or maybe that cute little $800 Canon that takes regular Canon lenses (oh yes, I remember the 70-200f4 IS-- very few m43 lenses approach the IQ of that lens). Fail.

The EM1 is 12% wider, 3% taller, and 22% heavier than the Canon SL1 / 100D.

So what? The lenses are important to define he size and weight of a camera system.

...and he conveniently left out that the SL1 is 9% thicker, due to the 1950's flippy mirror tech.

For all intents and purposes the E-M1 is the same size as a Canon Rebel. Ok. But the image quality of the Olympus is better (objectively, see dxomark, and subjectively), and the lens size is much smaller. Not to mention that micro four thirds can handle just about any other format's lenses, and the Canon cannot, due to the EF mount distance.
