You really have no idea about what is appealing in the EM1 to many of us who will buy it, do you?

Apparently some men in dark suits are waiting to force you to buy it?

Then what is the purpose behind your ill-informed ramble?

If, in my lifetime, I will have produced just one image that makes a real difference in the life of another, I will have achieved my highest goal as a photographer.

Ok, I'll bite. What is *persuasively* appealing in the EM1 to current m43 e-m5 owners?

Your comment was strangely, if not surprisingly, devoid of content. Was it just the initial tepid opening salvo for an intended pejorative sub-thread?

"What is *persuasively* appealing in the EM1 to current m43 e-m5 owners?"

Well, I´ll list only a few things:

The E-M1 have a somewhat larger grip, and it´s rounded and more "rubberized".

The grip of the E-M5 isn´t very comfortable, it´s a smidgen too small and is not rounded enough (for me).

Much better ergonomics, more settings can be made without menu delving. One of the most prominent improvements in my view.

Better, much better, design and placement of the on/off switch

Larger and more detailed EVF, which also can be used to play back images!

Works much better w 4/3 lenses, not important for everobody but for some it surely is!

(Even) better build.

There are more but those were enough in my world to make the E-M1 desirable.

I will keep my E-M5 until I easily can afford to get the E-M1 instead. Still the E-M5 is a wonderfully capable tool for most of what I use it for!

To eveyone his own.
