An anti-EM1 Thread - Here's why

The EM1 won't redefine photography. However, it is a good piece of kit that does things that no other 4/3rds camera does to date.

It's the first one with on chip phase detect like the Nikon 1. That means useable CAF.

It's very robust. - 10 degrees, sealed.

Biggest viewfinder of the lot.

An excellent IS ... the next generation from the EM5.

First Oly with a proper grip.

People are excited. Nothing wrong with that. The EM5 went over the top as well.

However, considering that Oly's photo division is basically one breath away from extinction, isn't it good that they have had a bit of marketing luck lately?

The EM1 is priced a bit high. Still, see the point above.
