Welcome to the 21st Century were the World is instantly made aware of the shootings that occur in our country. CNN, Fox News, and all the other networks are going to pick this event a part, piece by piece. Wolf Blitzer, Piers Morgan, etc, etc. Boy, they will just go crazy over this because they get to plaster their faces on the news again, and people will be watching.

Can I be honest with you Lane? We have over 300 million people living in this country, and the ONLY focus you see, is what the television networks cover, and that is the SENSATIONAL EVENTS. They (news networks) are the most hated people in this country right now. Every time something happens, the news networks pounce on it like a sharks going after bait. We will now hear about this for about a week or so, and it will all die down. That is how it all works over here. Media, media, media.

Not to say these type of events are not horrific, but can you please try to put in into perspective with all of those human beings that were recently killed in Syria with chemical weapons? Please?

Go and tell that to the relatives of the 12 dead, I am sure you will put a big smile on their faces and they can even start to give you a big hug.

Lane,

Did you intentionally just miss my comment here?

"Lets put it all into perspective, OK? It is a horrific event, that happens way to often in this country."

Another words, I acknowledge the event is horrific. What I am trying to do is to put it into perspective for YOU, who clearly is on some agenda with your post and thread to make this event about the gun violence in America. I know you, and I know what you post and how your respond to things. I see it, and I see what you are all about. You want to focus on guns, and gun violence, and you NEED to make this bigger than it is. It is horrific, and it is bad, but it is NOT 100 thousand innocent civilians murdered with chemical weapons and YOU KNOW IT.

What a ridiculous reasoning, do you always compare yourself with the worse to fell good about yourself? If this is your rational, they you will never be able to think in terms of improvement.

By the way, sorry, my name is no lane.
