What do you think Sony is up to with the A 3000?

I just saw the A 3000 camera and I'm wondering why in the world Sony would do this?

Is Sony planning on dropping the A mount? Or combining the E Mount and A mount cameras with the intention of producing only one mount for future cameras?

I do see the A3000 supports both A mount adapters and most on the current E mount lenses I already own.  If Sony is planning this type of move from A mount to E mount I'm afraid I be looking for a Canon or a Nikon quite soon to replace my A55. Considering I only own two lenses for the for my  A mount A55 besides the kit lens I just might be better off in my opinion. I know don't want to invest in a dead/dying camera mount, but it appears to me Sony is moving away from the A mount in favor of the E mount.

What do you think about Sony's intentions are with this A 3000 camera?
