Shame on You, DPReview

DPReview cuts the Canon 70D more slack.

It seems that DPReview is determined to use the word "disappointed" in describing the E-M1's PDAF performance. Previously, they wrote that "anyone coming from an E-3 or E-5 is likely to find themselves disappointed".

Now, after correcting their mistake and acknowledging that the E-M1's PDAF is similar to that of the E-5, DPReview states that those "hoping for contemporary DSLR performance, you're going to be disappointed."

A few sentences later, they say "our first impressions are that the performance is consistent with Canon's EOS 70D".

But if you look at DPReview's 70D preview, they state the 70D's live view AF is "essentially as fast and accurate as conventional, optical-viewfinder phase-detect AF". Note that there is no mention about the 70D's live view AF being disappointing.

I am rather disappointed in DPReview.
