Hmmm this doesn't match up with everything else we've heard does it. I got another benefit from reading the article on DPR and that is playing with their new studio tool. Wow it doesn't have the EM-1 yet, but compare the 5DMkIII to the EP5 or anything else, and unless your blind you can't help but see the difference with the FF camera.

Focusing is supposed to be similar to live view which I just really happen to pay attention to while shooting last night at the fair, fast but no cigar.

OLYMPUS LIED TO ME TWICE NOW, THEY SAID THEY WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE DSLR'S LIE NUMBER 1!!! OLYMPUS SAID THEY WOULD CONTINUE DSLR'S UNTIL MIRRORLESS MATCHED DSLR'S AND CLEARLY ACCORDING TO DPR THEY DON'T!!!

Olympus didn't commit to it. Some people in this forum read into that like that while there was more than enough hints that there may not be (at least!) a DSLR.

I never thought I would admit this but you've been saying this all along Ricardo.

I really do need a little better high ISO but I also wanted to add a few of the more expensive SHG but that just seems foolish now. I guess like everyone else in my boat I have to decide whether to sell off everything and move to FF or to plunge into m4/3rds?

Apologies to all, I've been venting here quite a bit like a kid that had the rug yanked out from under him.

I think this might be a great time to get 4/3 lenses and use them on a much better camera. Other people may be thinking the same thing and sell the great lenses off.

The focus speed of m4/3 lenses probably will be faster since they were engineered to be faster. I have numerous 4/3 lenses and I would love to get this camera that can truly take advantage of the 50-200. But I'm not sure I want to spend 1400 for a camera that is very similar to the E-M5 that I already have for just a focus upgrade to old lenses. I would almost spend 1000 on another 50-200 designed and built for m4/3.

Both are something to think about.
