Loosing size advantage with the mft lenses?
Sep 6, 2013

What do you think?
Even though the Em1 may be some beast of a camera, I cannot deny that I'm also a little disappointed to see the new 12-40 2.8 to be sooo huge. On the Em5 it will feel a little off balance probably. Now, if we don't get a HQ Zoom lighter than the pana 12-35 (even though it has no IS) is there any hope, that there will be another HQ zoom? I think not. Not very soon at least.
Too bad. I am craving for a compact high quality zoom with some more reach than the panasonic. I wouldn't even mind it to be a little slower (12-60 f3.5-4.8 or something in that area). In fact, most mft users have a couple of primes, that whant to see some action also, don't they?
