With this one exception [Henry Falkner, above] it's absolutely hilarious the ideas posted here purporting to understand film processing at all.

As to PP - just try to think of spotting little tiny dust spots (usually squiggly lines) with a 2 or 3 haired brush & ink - no room for error even working under a 10 Power magnifier - and no "Undo!"

And EVERY print had to be done individually - no multiple copies from the same PP, producing a bunch of "identical" prints was a real hassle.

Probably just as well, since Digital is FAR superior to film.

Don't miss that at all. So glad film is no longer needed!
