Re: Getting new glasses with photography in mind

I have been using Transitions lenses for years and love them. My current pair (Vantage) offer variable polarization that is also photosensitive. The reduction in glare and the increased color fidelity are awesome. That polarization does cause some darkening of my camera's LCD screen but is not an issue with the EVF. I prefer using the EVF anyway so for my photography, they are great. My LCD display is mostly useless outdoors anyway with or without these glasses.

I have the "comfort" lens which offers a larger sweet spot which I prefer for computer use and reading. I also note that these lenses are much faster at reacting than previous lenses.
