Newest PC Build is Great With Lightroom

Hello everyone,

First off, thanks to all who helped with my questions regarding Lightroom and such. I just jumped back into photography in a big way from when I was last serious (think Canon AE-1, T90 and Minolta Maxxum 9xi days) and was looking to upgrading my last PC build with something more current. I was looking into buying a dedicated workstation from HP, but ultimately decided that building it again myself was what I really wanted to do. Here are the specs:

-  Cooler Master HAF-XB case

- PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk. III 850 PSU

- Cooler Master Saidon 120 CPU Water Cooling Kit

- Pioneer BDR-208DBK Internal Blu-Ray Burner

- NZXT Aperture M 5.25 Bay Multi-Media Card Reader w/USB 3.0 Ports

- Intel Core i7 4770K 3.5 GHz “Haswell” CPU

- MSI MPower Max Z87 Motherboard

- MSI N760 OC GeForce GTX 760 Twin Frozr Video Card

- (2) Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3-1600 16GB RAM Kits

- (2) Samsung 840 Pro Series 128 GB SSD’s

- Western Digital WD Green 3 TB Hard Drive

- Western Digital WD Green 2 TB Hard Drive

- Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Paste

Here's what it looks like:

Not too many parts...

Two Samsung 840-Pro SSD's make Windows 7 Ultimate and LR5 fly...

The GTX-760 card is over-kill for photo work, just right for gaming...

32 Gigs of DDR3-1600 RAM, Haswell i7-4770K and water cooling to keep everything cool and quiet...

All buttoned-up in a cube case to fit under my printer stand...

Thanks for letting me share!

Arvin
