Apart from for moving objects and >3200 ISO, when is electronic shutter inferior?

Is there any other reason to not generally use it? E.g. in an ISO range of 200-1600 for static or slow moving objects? Just trying to add up pros and cons between a GX7 upgrade (or not, or something else).

I know almost nobody has the GX7 yet, but there are other Panasonic cameras with a presumably similar electronic shutter, not to mention other models of cameras. And of course reasoning induced from the mechanics of the shutter (of which I am not yet familiar).

(To be clear by electronic I mean non-mechanical, the silent shutter. I know it's all electronic.)
