Really only if you can read and handle a good proportion of the sensor at video speed. (Or go with "quite blurry".) While HD video is 2MP you need more to avoid aliasing, then more again with no AA filter.

For example the sensor in the GH3 combines 2x2 pixels on the sensor before the processor gets to them, but it still doesn't use all the pixels on the sensor as it just isn't fast enough. (BTW Canon have some interesting patents on how to combine pixels on-sensor to minimise moire.)

Actually I suspect it's down to the processor they use only supporting 1080 at 30 fps (which is more annoying in countries with 50Hz lights).
