It is useless if no camera is ever going to deliver that.

I use the SEL Zeiss 1.8 24 much of the time.  Using the 1.5 crop of the sensor over the true 35 mm size the 24 is equal to 36 mm on a full frame camera.  I find the Zeiss is both an excellent lens and covers most of what I want in a street camera.
