I find the OM-D an exceptional camera. Particularly when coupled with the Panasonic 12-35 continuous f. 2.8 lens (probably overpriced but I cannot fault it).

I have had the camera for about 8 weeks now and have become quite familiar with its operation. However, I was quite surprised to find a bluish cast when shooting a waterfall in cloudy light. I used auto w/b as well as the shade and cloud settings. I also used manual, auto, aperture and shutter priority. Exposures varied greatly and even though the camera suggested correct exposure in manual mode, it was often over-exposed. Program mode often resulted in a blue cast regardless of whether the auto w/b or shade, cloud setting was used.

Anyone with similar experiences? I would much appreciate your assistance

Waterfall with blue cast and over-exposed

How did you set your white balance, because it is clearly out.

Some might say you should have set white balance from the white water, but that would have made the image too warm.

Use a decent grey card or even better, get a colour checker passport.

And its over exposed by as much as 2 1/2 stops
