Why Olympus can't charge $5,000

If they charge 1500 plus make you pay for an adapter and a grip, then we are getting into some serious cash. If that were the case I'm out because that's just too much to pay for the privilege of using my 4/3 lenses.

Hopefully everything is built in and that's the price, but I'm seriously doubting this is the case.

If $15500 is the price, it's too high.

I don't know. Hasselblad thinks they can charge $7000 for a rebadged NEX-7, why not $15500 for a rebadged E-M5?

Because Olympus is not Hasselblad or Leica (which seems to sometimes get $100's for adding a red dot to a lens).

BUT this luxury market isn't quite what it used to be, as the trouble H is in and the fact that Leica's $40k Maestro is now sometimes re-selling for 20% of that on E-Bay tens to show.
