6D AF-System comparable to 350D?

I think it is not a matter of number of point or distribution as it is a matter of accuracy and sensitivity of those points. I don't have the 6D but I upgraded from a 40D to a 5D mk iii and the focus is much more accurate and sensitive in low light ( even if the 40D is pretty close for an old camera, I have to say). I am sure the 6D cannot be compared to the 350D.

And the number of focus points is usually a matter of shooting style. I tend to use single point 90% of the time and rarely use AF servo or AF zones. Even with sports I try and guess and prefocus in certain areas but then again it is easier to put your camera on servo and do 10 frames a second and just hope you got the right shot at the end. Spray and pray :))
