Image quality is rarely a simple matter.   These cameras use similar sensors and lenses, so the image quality is more alike than different.   Which is better depends on whether you're talking jpegs or raw.   It depends on what you value, accurate color, dynamic range, lack of noise in low-light pictures, sharpness across the image, lack of geometric distortion or chromatic aberrations, or something else.   A landscape shooter may want lots of dynamic range and care about corner sharpness where a portraitist values center sharpness and color (especially skin tones).  The wildlife artists cares about lens performance when zoomed all the way in and about image stabilization.   All of these are legitimate concerns, but make it tough to say one camera's iq is 'better' than another's unless the difference is large.
