Vignetting in RAW Converter EX by Silkypix
Jul 29, 2013

In another thread I posted some JPEG images that had been derived from a RAW (.RAF) file using the in-camera firmware's RAW converter.  More recently, I have played around with the Fujifilm RAW Converter EX by Silkypix standalone software program, working on the same .RAF file that I had used in the earlier thread .  I followed the excellent tutorial created a year ago by Trevor G.

However, when I "developed" the JPEG file in the Silkypix program, the resulting image showed severe vignetting.   And it was not just slight underexposure at the extreme corners, either; it was almost special-effects-add-vignetting severe:

Silkypix EX created JPEG

In fact, the vignetting was beyond even the capability of PTLens to correct:

Maximum vignetting correction applied by PTLens program

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?  Can you hazard a guess as to what I did wrong?
