Re: CANON SX50 OR SONY HX300 ?
In reply to edu T, Jul 27, 2013

I had it down to 3 brands and just bought the Sony vs the Canon because of the viewfinder (important to me),  the lower aperature and higher pixels.   I read many reviews for weeks that both the Canon SX50 and Sony HX300 have similar image quality (most important to me).  I don't often need to zoom this long a range so the image quality is most important,  I found the Sony to be more comfortable in my hands and didn't mind what the camera "lost" vs other previous models.  I love my other canon  powershot 120IS 10 mp with 20x zoom,,  and am familiar with the functions; but I still am confused on what has the better image quality overall compared to the new Sony.  So Sony HX300 or the CanonSX50 on image quality?  (not a movie taker)   Input please before I go exchange my Sony.  Thanks and hurry I only have 12 days to exchange.               Cathy
