Why not Sigma 8-16?
In reply to Wade Tregaskis, 9 months ago

I wanted a superwide and went for the Sigma 8-16. The reviews are good, it's sharp, its colour are excellent and it has the widest angle. Build quality is very good, and I've only owned Nikon lenses before.

It's not as fast as the others, but for landscapes and architecture, I'll close at f8 anyway! I found out that my D7100 can handle 1/500 @ f8 in not so bright conditions very easily, and I'm perfectly happy with that lense.

If the Nikon 10-24 had been a VR, I would have given it a thought.
