I am wondering how many lenses or even if any can fully leverage 75mp? Will have a huge diminishing return.

Yep - diminishing return. But that's true of most technologies as they mature.

If the read noise is significantly reduced, then the smaller saturation point may not matter - the end result being positive. Add to that an increase in resolution (at the cost of per pixel sharpness - which is unimportant at these resolutions) and the gains to be made when reducing the image (as most would be doing), and, although the returns are diminished, they should still be an improvement.

As to 75MP - I'll believe it when I see it. Canon already have higher pixel-count sensors (not sure what size sensors, but I thought they had already produced a 150MP sensor - and that's non-military), but I'd personally be surprised if they made such a large jump in the space of just one generation. Seems like a silly move to me.
