Strong line-of-sight between painter and subject is neatly reinforced by the length of paintbrush.  The painter's concentration piques viewer interest, and her slightly unconventional grip + earnest mouth practically force one's buy-in to the scene.

Good, counter-intuitive choice to photograph the painter as main subject rather than the obvious option, the girl receiving paint.

What would you want to see, the creator or the creation?
