Re: Is there a way to get clean JPGs in camera?

I understand the difference between DSLR and ILCs, but when discussing video (I've written professional in this industry for nearly a decade) nobody says vILC, it's only vDSLR. Mirror or not is irrelevant.

I have installed Panasonic's update and there was no still image help there.
The camera is quite powerful processor wise, able to shoot 1080p30 and record it as 1080p24. Also able to shoot over 100 Mbps video, which I have done. So the processor is no slouch.

It does seem, though, that the JPEG engine they use is clearly lacking.

But do other DSLRs (and ILCs) deliver non-blotchy JPGs?
