No everyone does not agree, and in fact DSLRs are still outselling MILCs by 3 to 1 or more. We keep reading about the death of the DSLR. For everyday snapshooters, perhaps the cellphone will become the camera of choice. But for professional and enthusiasts, DSLRs are still by far the most popular choice of camera.

Most of the people rushing the demise of the DSLR are those who don't use them, and therefore don't understand why some of us DO. The reasons often given ('so the camera can be smaller', 'flipping mirror is unreliable', etc.) don't mean a thing to me.
