Yes, why?

The DSLR is still the workhorse when you need to get the job done. The mirrorless has some size advantage and is better for discrete shooting but you pay a (relatively) high price to get light plastic tools.

I am using a 5D1 for 8 years and owned Nex-7, E-M5 and X-E1 in the last 15 months. Of theese the E-M5 comes closest to the reliability of a DSLR (action shooting excluded). Unfortunately I dislike its fiddly handling. The only reasons why I do not fully return to my DSLR is because I have some money to burn to toy around with the new tech and because I like the discrete style of the mirrorless. But my old DSLR still gets the job done and I need to carry a bag anyway as soon as I pack a second or third lens no matter if I carry my mirrorless or my DSLR.
