For your viewing pleasure, here are some absolutely new comparison images from the D800.

This time developed in ACR 8.1, my ususal settings without sharpening or noise reduction (ACR may apply some anyway as you probably know). Point is, settings were the same apart for exposure slider, which was at -0.60 for the ISO 3200 and + 4.50 for the ISO 100.

ISO 100 shows: more noise, and some ugly banding. Less colour and resolution in shadows, no benefit in the highlights.

Of course I´m aware that my comparisons aren´t valid to some "experts", but why should  care about that. No one, and I mean NO ONE, has proven med wrong.
