The 85 f1.8 gets great reviews, I've used it and it's a good lens. Only real downer is the amount of CA there. The Sigma 85 f1.4 is getting great reviews all around. The Canon 85 f1.2 is fantastic, but rather large and slow focusing, and crazy expensive. (unless you make a living based upon it)

Actually, the 85 f1.8 has a very low amount of CA. What it has, and sometimes is confused with CA, is purple fringing at extreme contrast transitions at f1.8. Another good quality of the 85 is it very fast focus speed.
