D600 max shutter speed confusion
2

Now, I've been seeing all kind of posts related with D600 max shutter speed of 1/4000 as a major downside compared to other cameras. Now one thing escapes me here. D600 has a minimum ISO of 50! That's one stop less than base ISO of 100. My D300s has max shutter speed of 1/8000 and a base ISO of 100 (actually 200, but I'm talking of "L" settings, just like in case of D600 which has a base of 100). So, in terms of exposure during bright sunlight, these two cameras are the SAME. D800, with ISO setting of 50, however, would achieve equivalent exposure of D300s with shutter speed of 1/16000, providing it's set with ISO 100.
Am I right or I'm missing something here?
Of course, if you're trying to capture a speeding bullet, where the speed of the subject plays the role - that's different story..
