Do clients for Fashion/Beauty/Commercial shoots expect you to shoot tethered?
Jul 3, 2013

I was wondering if this is something I must provide? I don't really like people looking at my work before it is processed and retouched, besides I find having a cable plugged into the D800 plus the trap/cover thing being open quite uncomfortable. Even if there was something for the hot shoe that did not need pluging into anything else I would also run out of space for my pocketwizard!

Is it the standard nowadays or can you get away with not shooting tethered?

(PS: I'm not yet a working pro. I'm attending photo school and I am posting this out of curiosity as I will start to work next year. Any additional advice or tips, related or not, on dealing with clients are much appreciated!)
