Yep. Still gotta rate Steichen's classic as the Numero Uno Flatiron pic, but Bob's can hang with it.

I've taken loads of Flatiron pics...but they mostly just look like everyone else's. It's very hard to find a fresh perspective.

I don't think the perspective is all that unique either - though what was unique was having no power in the direction pointed (south) and the plaza cleared, while behind me they had just regained power taht was lost during Hurricane Sandy.

It's a bit oversharpened at 100%, as that was prepared for a print.   (unsolicited confession)
