36 shot burst with the 5d3 (from an amateur obviously
Jun 29, 2013

AI Servo, 1/640 shutter, F/2.8, ISO 100. Canon 70-200 IS II with lens hood on. Handheld (no tripod/monopod).

36 shots before the buffer started to stutter. 1000x 64GB compactflash exfat formatted.

Note : There are no skipped files - this was the burst I got. While not all perfect, I am completely satisfied with this as a "sports" shooter.

Corrected in Lightroom. I realize this is a big file but I didn't want to wimp out with tiny postage stamp size pics. Yes, I normally crop tighter too.

Thoughts? This isn't per se a critique on my color grading or framing, just would like to hear your thoughts on how well the camera tracked and kept the subject in focus, even at F/2.8.  I think I was in AF "mode 6".

File is about 146 megs.
