I am referring to the Panasonic 20mm, there are already dozens of threads with ton of pics that show the banding effects. Olympus officially acknowledged the banding issues with the OM-D here:

Since I loved my 20mm I planned to wait for upgrading from my E-PL1 until this banding issues are solved or until there's a new sensor that is less prone to banding. It seems that Panasonic now unofficially acknowledged with the release of MarkII version of the lens that there won't be a solution.
