As far as improving the look of these photos I would suggest shooting in RAW (not JPG). I tell everyone to use Lightroom 5 but that's just my personal preference.

Try and not overexpose these photos so much, they are a bit washed out. Shoot to the right of the histrogram without clipping the highlights or only clipping highlights you don't care about. Then adjust your exposure in post production by bringing it to down until it looks good. After that, bring up the contrast some unless the scene is already too contrasty, in that case you could bring up the contrast a just recover a bit of the highlights with a recovery slider (but don't overdo it so that it doesn't look natural).

Bring up your vibrance and saturation a little bit.
