Hi A Woody. The well-documented green tint problem is vexing, but it looks like you discovered the  solution to get the colors back to where they should be. There are a number of theories re why Nikon has allowed this to happen. Their claim that the green tint is "more accurate" is rubbish of course. I have been tempted by the D7100 but am really starting to re-think Nikon - although if the magenta enhanced WB setting works, then it's a painless solution. In a couple of weeks can you let us know if the extra magenta is necessary and workable in all sorts of WB settings, eg manual, tungsten, etc?
