Are the 1.4x internal + external 2x the stacked converters you mean? The widest aperture is now f/11 as indicated in your results. The reported sharpness at this setting of 40-45% would be actually very disappointing, if correct (I don't believe it). This would be much lower than f/32 without the 2xTC, in other words: extremely soft. Impossible to believe, given what for example the 300/2.8II can produce wide open with a 2xTC on a 7D (smaller pixels):
