Not sure why you would want the improved video specs and then ask for a manual zoom like is on the fuji. I used the fuji and unless you were on a fairly substantial tripod, the manual zoom was a 'motion monster' for video. Even slight zooming caused movement on the video being shot, and I am a decent handholding guy after years with a DSLR.
If it was just for photos I would be all about the manual zoom too!

I agree that it is difficult to manual zoom on video.

BTW the DIGIC 6 improve in many parts including the video too
