I suppose it really had to do with the background of what I studied or culture or just me. I just inherently calculate stuff with respect to deals and monetary value. At least, I'm not like those accounting people that tries to is the best deal. I try to aim for good deals and what I'm excited about. Doesn't always work, but how do I put it... I like to keep my windows open, like a backup plan if the one I get excited isn't available for whatever reason.
