A taste of Texas (SX50)

Nice bunch of Bluebells

Bluebell closeup (x1.5 macro setting)

Bluebell center shot in RAW and cropped

Dance hall near Montgomery, Texas with painted side

Saturday I got out to look for wild  Bluebells.  They are getting harder to find with our dry weather for the past few years, folks picking them and development of so much undisturbed land but I did find a few to photograph.  The blooms are amazing as they look almost like cartoons or over photoshopped images.  They are gorgeous!  Here is a link to an article about them:

I've attached three photos -- No.1 is a nice bunch of Bluebells, No. 2 is a closeup done with the X1.5 macro setting and No. 3 was shot in RAW and cropped in PSCS5.

The fourth photo is the painted side of a Texas dance hall where you can enjoy a "longneck" beer and do a little "boot scootin'.
