For macro I am currently using Sigma 150 /2.8 Macro & Tokina 35 f/2.8 Macro mounted on my D300S.

Nice lenses, although if I had Nikon I would prefer the Nikkor 40mm f2.8 DX micro over that 35mm Tokina, for its smooth bokeh.

Eventually I am also using Canon 500D filter mounted on Nikkor 12-24 f/4.

Odd... I do not think a close up lens will do much at all on a wide angle. Close up diopters are worthwhile on tele lenses, not wide angles...

Better idea is to get a 12mm (or a bit less) extension tube, and use it at 24mm or thereabouts.
