Aperture: Color Value Sample Size no longer adjustable

Or where has the Adjustment Action pop-up menu (the gear icon) in the adjustment HUD gone (where the controls for the sample size was)? It used to be below the histogram on the right side. Just to the right of the drop-down menu for adding adjustment blocks, where now the Auto-Enhance button is.

Where with Color Value Sample Size I mean the size of the sampling area (in number of pixels) when using the eyedropper tool (pipette tool). Apple's documentation still claims it should be there, even in the pdf manual which claims to be for Aperture 3.4. It is shown and labelled in this screenshot in the documentation.

Do you still have the gear menu there? If not, do you know another way to adjust the sample size?
